Our Weekend School program, also known as Kids Academy, is designed to provide elementary school students with a stimulating and enriching learning environment that extends beyond the traditional classroom.

Brightroot.org is a centralized digital platform designed to support weekend school administrators and teachers. It provides essential resources such as curriculum guides, instructional materials, and professional development tools in one organized and easily accessible space.

Colors of Heritage

Colors of Heritage is a nationwide program created to discover, nurture, and celebrate the talents of students attending Weekend Schools across the United States. The program provides a vibrant platform where children can confidently showcase their abilities and express themselves creatively.

Express Relief

Express Relief is a student-led initiative that empowers students to organize fundraising activities in support of humanitarian relief efforts. Through active participation, students assume meaningful responsibility and contribute to impactful social causes.

Kitap Okuyorum

Kitapokuyorum is an interactive online platform where students can read books and take quizzes to assess their comprehension. Designed to make reading both engaging and rewarding, the platform offers a growing collection of books in Turkish and English.

Atlasia & Filozof Magazines

Atlasia Kids Magazine is a child-friendly publication designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Each issue features age-appropriate articles, stories, activities, and engaging visuals that encourage children to explore culture, history, values, and everyday life topics. 

Winter & Summer Camps

Winter Camps are 3–7-day programs designed to provide students with a dynamic blend of learning and fun. These camps create meaningful opportunities for students to connect with peers, explore new interests, and participate in engaging hands-on activities.

Art

The Art Program provides elementary students with opportunities to discover and develop their talents in both visual arts and music. By connecting students with experienced mentors, the program nurtures creativity while offering guidance and inspiration in a supportive learning environment.

Sports

The Sports Program supports the physical development of elementary students while promoting discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills through athletic activities. Students explore a variety of sports, discover their interests, and develop healthy lifestyle habits.

Dialogue Activities

Dialogue and Interfaith Activities bring communities together through meaningful events such as Thanksgiving dinners, community iftars, and teacher appreciation iftar dinners.

QuranEra – Qur’an Education Platform

QuranEra is an interactive web-based platform designed to help students learn how to read the Qur’an through a fun, engaging, and gamified learning experience. Students embark on educational adventures across seven continents, progressing step by step through structured lessons that systematically build Qur’an reading skills.

5th Grade Mentorship

The 5th Grade Mentorship Program offers differentiated programs for boys and girls, designed to support their successful transition into middle school. Weekend school teachers are supported by university student mentor sisters and brothers who serve as positive role models and guides.

Heritage Language Support

The Heritage Language Support Program promotes mother tongue education in languages such as Turkish, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Uzbek, Azeri, Tajik, Uyghur, and others. The program helps students strengthen their language proficiency while deepening their connection to their cultural identity.

Seerah Fair

The Seerah Fair is an educational event where students select a topic from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and present their research and learning to the community.

Civic Engagement

Civic Engagement Activities empower students to take an active and meaningful role in their local communities. Through volunteer projects, service-learning experiences, and community initiatives, students develop responsibility, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Library Partnership Activities

Library Partnership Activities provide students with meaningful opportunities to collaborate with local and neighboring libraries through engaging and educational programs.

Clubs

Clubs such as Music, Art, Sports, Technology, and Robotics provide students with valuable opportunities to explore their interests and develop new skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
