W14 – Heritage Language Support
The Heritage Language Support Program promotes mother tongue education in languages such as Turkish, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Uzbek, Azeri, Tajik, Uyghur, and others. The program helps students strengthen their language proficiency while deepening their connection to their cultural identity. Instruction focuses on the balanced development of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Through interactive activities and age-appropriate materials, students learn their native language in a natural, engaging, and supportive environment. The program also supports bilingual and multilingual development, enabling students to use their heritage language confidently in daily life. Encouraging language preservation, it plays a vital role in passing cultural heritage on to future generations.
