Weekend School

At Mentor Portal, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our Weekend School program, also known as Kids Academy, is designed to provide elementary school students with a stimulating and enriching learning environment that extends beyond the traditional classroom.

8th Grade Academy

Our 8th Grade Academy Program is a specially designed program for 8th grade students. We aim to provide our students academic and spiritual development classes and social responsibity projects to strengthen their civic, moral, and ethical values. We are devoted to nurturing and challenging each student intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, morally, and socially.

Our program consists of 4 core class subjects: Quran Studies, Islamic Studies I, Islamic Studies II, and Character Education. Our teachers are chosen very carefully to ensure that each student is taken care of and they get a good understanding of religious concepts and what they translate to in today’s society.

Middle School Academy

The main purpose of the middle school program is to teach our students universal, cultural and ethical values while keeping it fun with the support of mentor-family cooperation.

We aim to academically and culturally coach our students so they can be responsible citizens through the educational activities, field trips, reading clubs, project contests and seminars

High School Academy

We provide mentorship services for high school students for their academic, social, and spiritual development. Our programs consist of our mentors giving curriculum-based classes to fulfill their social needs. We also provide national and international volunteer and humanitarian trips for the youth to be well-rounded members of society.

University Academy

Our programs aim to maintain their essential identity against mental and spiritual corruption for young adults, namely college students.

In addition to spiritual support, our programs teach universal, cultural, and ethical values to empower college students socially. These spiritual and social supports are crucial to guide college students to achieve academic success and internalize altruism, that is, devotion to others through complete forgetfulness of one’s own concerns, which is abiding by the highest degree of nobility.

The Young Seekers: Guiding Muslim Youth

Our flagship program, “The Young Seekers,” is dedicated to guiding and empowering Muslim youth as they navigate the complex challenges of the postmodern era. This comprehensive program offers a curriculum that addresses the spiritual, social, and academic needs of our participants. The courses delve into various aspects of religious experience, self-learning strategies, and the importance of embracing Islamic history. Participants can expect engaging online courses supported by Google Classroom, Zoom, and Kahoot, as well as the ability to watch recorded classes, Kahoot challenges, and the opportunity for refunds and rewards based on attendance and performance.

Golden Generation Leadership Scholar Program: Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders

Our “Golden Generation Leadership Scholar Program” is an innovative two-year leadership training initiative, offering young leaders the opportunity to develop leadership skills, grow spiritually, and gain valuable professional experience. This program encompasses a diverse curriculum, including training, seminars, internships, and more. It is open to students from 4th-year high school to 3rd-year college, and it offers a range of benefits, such as monthly stipends, coverage of program expenses, skill development through working with sponsoring organizations, and access to a global network of professionals.

Ramadan for Youth TV: Fostering Spiritual Growth

“Ramadan for Youth TV” is an initiative that aims to instill the significance of Ramadan in the hearts of children. Broadcasted in English for 30 days during Ramadan, this project was created to engage students and provide alternative guidance during the COVID period. It includes 20 different content pieces created by dedicated high school and college student volunteers.

Future Generation Program: Inspiring North America’s Youth

Our “Future Generation Program” is designed to inspire and empower the youth of North America. Participants can choose from six different tracks, each focusing on personal development, leadership, and exploration. By setting and achieving goals in key areas, participants earn certificates and gain valuable skills that will serve them well in the future.

KitapOkuyorum.org: Promoting Language and Culture

“KitapOkuyorum.org” is a website dedicated to preserving language and culture among students living abroad. With a renewed interface and new features, the website offers customizable book sets, language options, and upcoming online book reading features and games. It’s an essential resource for students who want to stay connected to their roots.
