Grade 10 students of the Vancouver Mentoring Program held a cyclist meeting at the beautiful bicycle roads of Stanley Park of Vancouver. To make sure nothing unwanted happens, there were several mentors attending the program. The students and the mentors rode their bicycles both around the shore and in the forests of Stanley Park. There were races held and the winners celebrated proudly. After the races, the group took a full tour around Stanley Park which approximately lasted one hour. As the students were exhausted the event ended after this full tour and the group headed to the usual meeting place of CentreCanada. They prepared dinner together and ate it. By doing so, the students increased their proficiencies at teamwork and developed cooking skills.
