Spearheaded by the Grand River Friendship Society, the “Mentor Friends Appreciation and Honor Night” was held to celebrate mentors who mentor younger generations and make significant contributions to the community. This special event strengthened the bonds of solidarity and friendship within the community, highlighting the value that mentors add to the lives of young people. Mentors who shared the mission of GRFS went beyond being just guidance tools and aimed to reach a wide segment of the society and increase awareness of social responsibility.
Our mentor friends are devoted to guiding and supporting the lives of young people. They aim to contribute to the personal and academic development of young people by sharing their own experiences and knowledge. This service movement aims to help young people discover their potential, as well as create strong bonds and promote solidarity in society. Mentors have the responsibility of shaping the future of younger generations and inspiring them. Their efforts contribute to a stronger and more interconnected society. At the night, which ended with certificates and gifts, the devoted work of the mentors was rewarded, and the “‘Thank You and Honor Night for Mentor Friends'” once again emphasizes why our mentor friends are devoted to this service movement.
