At our Arkansas weekend school, elementary students discovered the joy of reading Turkish! With eager hands, they pieced together letters, transforming words into melodies. As Fethullah Gülen said, “A book is a world.” Our children recited poems, shared stories, and celebrated the beauty of the Turkish language. Inspired by Gülen’s words, “Knowledge is the lantern of humanity,” they are taking their first steps toward a bright future.
