North Carolina Middle and high school girls celebrated the start of Ramadan with a “Welcome Ramadan” Iftar, combining prayer, a shared meal, games, and gift-giving. This gathering fostered unity and joy, beginning with the Maghrib prayer, followed by a delicious iftar that brought everyone closer. Post-meal activities included Islamic trivia and team-building games, enhancing their bond and understanding of Ramadan. Each girl received a gift, adding a personal touch to the event and reinforcing the spirit of community. This special iftar not only welcomed the holy month but also nurtured a sense of belonging and cultural appreciation among the participants.
