Core Education Services successfully concluded another enriching and brotherhood-filled camp with our students and mentors. The camp from December 21st to 27th was a spiritually uplifting experience, allowing participants to deeply feel the blessings of the Risale through daily Quran recitation and memorization tracking, individual and group study sessions, lessons from “Small Words,” engaging discussions, and watching episodes of the series on Caliph Umar.
Our eleventh graders explored the book “The Depths of Being a Service Human,” where they learned about service values and focused on mission awareness. The tenth graders were split into groups; some followed “Infinite Light” to gain a detailed understanding of our Prophet’s life through our teacher’s perspective, while others studied “Why We Should Worship” to deepen their faith. The ninth graders pursued “On the Path of the Prophet” to learn the depths of Hadith sciences and correct approaches to Hadiths in this era of information pollution, with some also studying “Being Virtuous” to embody the Prophet’s character.
Activities varied from skiing, hanging out in DC and playing Airsoft, to ice skating. As mentors, we had a delightful time with our students and hope they found the experience as beneficial as we did.
We eagerly anticipate full participation at our Summer Camp, scheduled for the week after school closes. Please plan your holidays accordingly.
