CORE Educational Services successfully launched the new mentoring year with a comprehensive kick-off event for middle and high school boys at Bull Run Park in Centreville, VA, on August 31st from 3 PM to 6 PM. While many groups gathered at the picnic to engage in sports and team-building activities, other groups opted for different meeting formats, accommodating diverse interests and fostering a more personalized connection among mentors and mentees. This flexible approach ensured that all participants could begin their mentoring journey in a manner that best suited their group dynamics, enriching the overall experience and laying a solid foundation for the year ahead.
