Boys’ mentors from Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland gathered for an enriching summer camp from May 16-26, focused heavily on literary and spiritual development. This year was particularly notable as first-year mentors completed reading the influential book “Irsad Ekseni.” All participants engaged in hatims, involving extensive readings of the Quran. Alongside these thoughtful activities, the camp included a boat tour around the island and a visit to Universal Studios in Orlando. These combined experiences offered a balanced program of fun, education, and spiritual reflection, enhancing mentorship skills and deepening bonds across state lines.
