We came together with our university girls in Toronto on the second day of Ramadan and had iftar together. Approximately 70 students attended. After iftar, a kahoot competition was held with catechism questions about Ramadan. We gave mini gifts to the top three. All friends who participated in the program were given “tooth rent”, or gifts, after iftar, which is an Ottoman tradition. The friends who came left very happy.
